Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective June 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Let's Learn, Nemo! ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Lemma application and website (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use account features of the Service. By creating an account you affirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority where you live but at least 13, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

If you do not meet the age requirement, you may not create an account.

2.The Service

Lemma is an educational game for practicing and learning mathematics and other STEM-related topics. The Service is currently offered free of charge and is in active development. This means:

We do not guarantee that the Service, or any particular feature or content, will always be available or error-free. While we aim for the educational content to be accurate and helpful, the Service is a learning aid and is provided for general educational purposes.

3.Your account

You may play as a guest without an account, or create an account (via Google sign-in or a one-time email link) to save your progress across devices.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping access to your email or sign-in method secure. You agree to provide accurate information, including a truthful age affirmation. One person should not maintain multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage, and you may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

4.Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5.In-game items and virtual currency

The Service includes virtual items, coins, and gems ("Virtual Goods") that you can earn or, in the future, purchase. Virtual Goods:

We do not currently charge for the Service. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future, we will present the applicable pricing and terms before you are charged, and update these Terms accordingly.

6.Intellectual property

The Service — including its lessons, problems, text, artwork, maps, designs, names, logos, and software — is owned by Let's Learn, Nemo! or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial, educational use, subject to these Terms.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

7.Friends feature

If you use the friends feature, other users you connect with can see limited profile information such as your display name, level, stars, and last-active status. You are responsible for your conduct toward other users. You can remove or block other users at any time. Do not use the feature to harass, harm, or share inappropriate content with others.

8.Disclaimers

9.Limitation of liability

10.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Let's Learn, Nemo! from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

11.Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

12.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the version number and effective date above. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you — for example, by asking you to review and accept the updated Terms when you next use the Service. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
